Rural Futures 2008 Conference, 1st-4th April 2008, Plymouth, England.

Intercai Mondiale Managing Consultant David Hughes will be speaking on the future direction for Rural Broadband at the Rural Futures 2008 conference, 1st-4th April 2008 in Plymouth, England with a paper entitled Fibre to the Farm: Issues for rural broadband.

The conference has three main themes:

• Connecting communities to the countryside
• Sustainable solutions
• Making it happen

His paper is concerned with the issues associated with making broadband happen in the countryside and builds on his experience of doing just that in the UK and elsewhere in the world.
